The Staff

Coreena Ferrata – Owner

Coreena was born in Naples, Italy, as her parents were serving overseas in the US Air Force. Soon after, her family relocated to Mckinney, Texas where she attended Prosper High School. Coreena moved to College Station in 2010 to attend Texas A&M where she met and fell in love with her husband Nick towards the end of her third year.

Just prior to graduating in 2014, Nick proposed to Coreena at the Aggie Ring Plaza the day after she earned her Aggie ring. They enjoyed a beautiful destination wedding in Cabo San Lucas in June of 2015. Coreena’s hunt for a one-of-a-kind beach wedding gown inspired her to completely redesign the dress she purchased. Since then, she has designed gowns for close family and friends who also desired a couture look.

In 2017, Coreena decided to put designing on hold to pursue a new dream—opening a full service bridal boutique. Coreena’s personal experience of shopping for her own wedding dress sparked her passion for helping brides, with the ultimate goal of providing a unique selection of designer gowns that offer a couture look for an affordable price. More importantly, offering that possibility in College Station. Part of her vision of an all-in-one shopping experience included the necessity of on-site alterations. Local brides enjoy brands commonly found in larger cities, without the travel for multiple alterations appointments.

After one year in business, Coreena’s Bridal expanded their building to accommodate more brides. Two years after launching her College Station boutique, Coreena is excited to reach more brides across Texas with the second location of Coreena’s Bridal in Georgetown.

Kat - Assistant Manager/Stylist

Katristlan was Born in Bay City and raised in Georgetown, Texas. After high school, she moved to College Station to attend Texas A&M University as a pre-veterinarian student. She graduated in May of 2016 with a bachelors of science in biomedical science and a minor in philosophy.

Throughout college and for a few years post graduation, Katrislan worked in the service industry as a waitress and bartender. Working in a customer service-oriented environment has taught Katrislan pristine hospitality skills that are a part of what makes brides’ experience with us truly memorable. She enjoys going above and beyond to personalize the shopping experience for each bride she encounters.

Working at Coreena’s Bridal has been a fun and exciting experience for Katrislan. She relishes in the positive and uplifting atmosphere that comes with helping brides find and fall in love with the dress that they will wear when they eventually say “I do.”

Gracie - Stylist / Social Media Manager

Born and raised in Beaumont, Texas, Gracie played many sports but dance was always her passion. She moved to College Station to attend Texas A&M where she graduated with a BBA in marketing in May of 2021. Throughout her college years, dance remained a prominent passion while she participated in the largest dance organization on campus for all four years. She credits this sport for teaching her discipline, creativity and expression.

Since 2020, Gracie developed customer service skills working as a bartender in the Northgate District. She always knew she wouldn’t be satisfied with a “normal” office job.

Gracie was initially asked to model for Coreena’s Bridal beginning late 2021. After about 8 months of modeling, Gracie knew she wanted to become a permanent team member and was hired on as a stylist and social media manager. Her favorite moments at Coreena’s are when a bride finds her dress. The raw emotion in those instances pull at her heart strings and make her so grateful to share that moment with the bride and her loved ones.

Adriana - Stylist

From Houston, Texas, Adriana was a former competition dancer with a love for fashion. Once she stepped foot in the career world, she knew she had a passion for helping others. She is currently enrolled in college, studying finance and sales. Adriana’s favorite part of working as a bridal stylist is helping brides say their “2nd yes”, and seeing the joy that lights up on their faces. She says there is no better feeling then walking into work knowing you’re going to make an impact on someone’s special day!

Adriana comes to work radiating positivity each and every day. It is no surprise that our brides love her as much as we do and we’re proud to call her part of the Coreena’s family.

Nadia - Stylist

Nadia was born in Farmington, NM but was raised in Seguin, TX. After high school, she moved to College Station where she is currently enrolled in college, studying business marketing to pursue her passion for fashion.  She eagerly joined our team as a stylist in April 2022, believing this was a perfect stepping stone for her future endeavors in the industry.

Nadia’s strongest trait is her ability to become instant friends with anyone who walks through our doors. Her prior retail experience has also aided in her transition to bridal. She prides herself on the ability to help brides find their perfect dress, creating their own unique bridal look, while still respectfully considering their budget. Her favorite part of working at Coreena’s Bridal is being a part of a bride’s story and watching a bride have her “bridal moment” as she falls in love with her wedding dress.

Lauren - Seamstress

Lauren Ashley began sewing at the age of nine years old when her grandmother gave her a sewing machine for Christmas. She was always creating and sewing clothing and accessories but her sewing career didn’t begin to take shape until her early twenties.

Lauren attended Sam Houston state university to pursue a degree in fine arts but soon learned that her real passion was sewing. While at Sam Houston she created many connections that allowed her to turn her sewing hobby into income earning opportunities. She worked at alteration shops, small theaters, as well doing small alteration jobs around town.

Lauren began working for Coreena’s Bridal in February of 2022 and quickly fell in love with bridal alterations. She is exceptionally talented at creating custom add-ons and enjoys the various challenges and learning experience that bridal alterations bring.
