Georgetown

Coreena’s Bridal is conveniently located near the southwest corner of the iconic Georgetown Square. We are proud to introduce this boutique as the second location to our original shop which opened September 2018 in College Station.

We pride ourselves on a personalized and exemplary bridal shopping experience with a diverse selection of unique, eye-catching wedding gowns. We currently carry selections by Randy Fenoli, Hayley Paige, Maggie Sottero, Zavana Bridal, White April, and La Perle.

Our beautiful boutique was carefully designed to provide the best shopping experience around with private appointment areas, a personal stylist, and a complimentary drink menu. Take a moment away from the stress of wedding planning and book your appointment for a relaxing and fun day with your loved ones.

We are thrilled and honored to be a part of the historical Georgetown community and encourage you to plan your bridal shopping experience around the many exciting businesses that surround The Square. After you find your dream gown with us, head across the street to celebrate with your best gals over mimosas and brunch or wine and pizza! The Square has so much to offer for a day of fun and celebration, so we encourage you to make a day out of it!

The Shop

At Coreena’s Bridal, it is all about the bride! Our shop was carefully redesigned from the ground up with the bride in mind. Everything from our spacious fitting rooms to our private appointment areas, suitable for large entourages, is to ensure your special day is everything you’ve dreamed of. The first yes was an incredible moment in your life, and we’re here for the #2ndYes, which we hope is equally special.

Photos of our newly renovated shop coming soon!

The Staff

Coreena Ferrata – Owner

Coreena was born in Naples, Italy, as her parents were serving overseas in the US Air Force. Soon after, her family relocated to Mckinney, Texas where she attended Prosper High School. Coreena moved to College Station in 2010 to attend Texas A&M where she met and fell in love with her husband Nick towards the end of her third year.

Just prior to graduating in 2014, Nick proposed to Coreena at the Aggie Ring Plaza the day after she earned her Aggie ring. They enjoyed a beautiful destination wedding in Cabo San Lucas in June of 2015. Coreena’s hunt for a one-of-a-kind beach wedding gown inspired her to completely redesign the dress she purchased. Since then, she began designing gowns for close family and friends who also desired a couture look.

In 2017, Coreena decided to put designing on hold to pursue a new dream—opening a full service bridal boutique. Coreena’s personal experience of shopping for her own wedding dress sparked her passion for helping brides, with the ultimate goal of providing a unique selection of designer gowns that offer a couture look for an affordable price. More importantly, offering that possibility in College Station.

After one year in business, Coreena’s Bridal expanded their building to accommodate more brides. Now, two years after launching her boutique, Coreena is excited to reach more brides across Texas with the second location of Coreena’s Bridal in Georgetown.

Sonja Lewis - Store Manager

Raised in the small country town of Markham, Texas, Sonja grew up in a close-knit community until she eventually moved to Georgetown in 1995. Two years later, she married and moved to Virginia only to return to Georgetown in 2000 where she would spend the next 18 years raising her children and working for her GISD.

Sonja remembers visiting Georgetown as a child for annual family reunions when the springs were clear enough to drink from and camping was still permitted in the San Gabriel Park. Needless to say, the town charmed her just as it has been well known for.

She enjoys adventure and the outdoors as well as traveling and new learning opportunities. She believes life is a whole lot sweeter with Jesus and that when one door closes, another one opens.

After the past two years living in San Antonio, Sonja eagerly returns to Georgetown, ready to take on the world of bridal fashion.

Lauren Allan - Stylist

Originally from  Indianapolis, Lauren grew up with a love for building friendships, dance, and fashion. She moved to Georgetown in 2019 with her fiancé, Mason.

After taking an event planning class during her time at Butler University, Lauren knew she belonged in the wedding industry.

Over the last six years, she has worked in catering and venue sales, event design, and marketing. Being the primary contact for couples on their big day has allowed Lauren to understand the industry backwards and forwards.

With her experience in marketing, Lauren founded a social media management company in May 2020 called Roots & Wings Co., that by no coincidence has attracted several wedding industry professionals.

Lauren’s positive energy shines through as her passion is to provide the best experience possible for her clients and brides.

Rachel Vikstedt - Stylist

Rachel grew up in Georgetown, Texas, and fell in love with weddings at a young age. She assisted with the coordination of her first wedding at fifteen years old and started her first job as a bridal stylist two years later.

After high school, she spent the summer in Europe, before deciding to follow her passion for events. Rachel intends to graduate from Austin Community College in December of 2021 with degrees in Meeting and Event Planning as well as Travel and Tourism.

The past two years, Rachel has enjoyed working as a wedding coordinator in the Austin area. She has experienced an immense joy working with brides as a coordinator but has missed the feeling of excitement and pride that comes with helping a bride find her perfect dress!

Erin Sossamon - Stylist

Originally from Houston, Erin has lived several places around the country since she was eight years old. Her one constant during her moves was gymnastics.  She appreciated that it was a great way to meet friends and stay fit.

Prior to moving to Georgetown over the summer of 2020, Erin lived Los Angeles where she worked in the entertainment industry.  She thrived in a highly competitive environment where she learned how to work with a variety of people and address each person’s needs.

Erin began taking in Pilates in 2015 and it quickly became a passion of hers.  She currently teaches as a certified Pilates instructor. She is constantly on the move and loves to hike, workout and travel.  Erin eagerly joined the Coreena’s Bridal team, excited to work with brides and bring their bridal vision to life.
